I had an enormous about of feedback and requests for a CD version of the 20th Anniversary Summoner Album since its release back in 2019. Unfortunately, CD Baby stopped selling music, my main distributor. Due to all the shipping issues, international sales, and production holdups in the world currently, I upgraded my plans this year and present you the absolute best, digital downloadable master files!

Summoner 20th anniversary had 18 songs. Well, let’s fix that. Upgraded!

I am proud to present, Summoner: Limited Edition. A total of 28 songs! As before, I approached the material as I would have written 23 years ago, carefully crafting Summoners sonic essence preserving the legacy of the soundtrack.

This album was completely reworked, re-engineered to support all the new headroom, the most dynamic Summoner experience possible! Better than CD quality, all songs included are my master files at 24 BIT / 48K, a total DVDs worth of 2 gigabytes. Love MP3s, Ogg, FLAC? (A) Note on song 28 “Mysticism”. I was hired to exclusively create music for Summoner a new game by Volition. At this time there were no sound effects or music. The game was silent. Interplay just went bankrupt, so we were internally seeking a new publisher to fund Summoner, so we approached THQ Inc. with a tech demo of a single level (Video on my website).

This was my first attempt to craft “the sound” of Summoner, testing ideas on how I wanted to approach the entire soundtrack. I knew I liked ethic beats, and wanted emotionally driven themes, so this was the first outcome. The second song created was the Title Theme, then for a dungeon level, Passage of the Undead was the third and so on.
