Joshua Morse is a Nashville-based composer and engineer, with an affinity for 16-bit sound design and funky grooves. In his latest album Zelda Funk, Joshua brings Super Nintendo style and legendary jazz reharmonization into the world of Hyrule! With seven classic tracks from The Legend of Zelda series, Zelda Funk includes music from SNES and Nintendo 64 favorites A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, as well as the GameCube/Wii’s Twilight Princess.
“Ocarina of Time” kicks off the tracklist with wistful nostalgia, and crescendos into a 16-bit jam session with favorites such as “Hyrule Castle” and “Dark World”, before closing with the heartwarmingly funky “Princess Zelda”. Featured tracks are composed by Koji Kondo and Toru Minegishi.
